Part II: Mini Installation with Barbie.
The story: Barbie returns home anticipating her date with Ken, clearly marked in her daily planner. However, on the table is a note from Ken explaining that he is out for the night. Feeling a bit suspicious, Barbie searches Ken’s gym bag to find a letter and photograph from ME! It would appear Ken has forgotten his date with Barbie in order to pursue his former companion; leaving a distraught, tear-streaked Barbie.
I’m sorry, Barbie.

The story: Ken and I have history. For a season back in 2008 we did everything together; including going to Hairspray in NYC, whitewater rafting the Snake River, a Seattle Mormon baptism, attending an Oregon wedding, throwing Bellingham parties and more. All the while we photo documented our time together. So the Ken-sized pictures you see here are actual documentation of our adventures. After that season we went our separate ways. This installation is Ken reminiscing our time together over some cold cutlets and whiskey. We had it all.
